The clock struck eleven in the night
I heard my roomies silently fight
My birthday cake, they’d forgotten to order
I said, “Chillax! Don’t bother!”

The clock struck twelve, when out of nowhere
I saw a thing, at which I had to but, stare!
On the table lay a huge full Tandoori Chicken
Aluminum-foil covered knife from the kitchen!

Was I looking foolish or what,
Cutting a Tandoori, which was piping hot?
Hail my roomies, I love you a lot,
The gifts, the awesome time, I will forget not…

‘Was the most awaited day of the year…
Friends, celebrations, fun and games
Phones, gifts, and bum chums calling names
